Today sees the opening of Beyond Impressionism: Printmaking from Manet to Picasso at the Holburne Museum in Bath — an imaginative new exhibition that shows another side to the celebrated impressionist painters: their contribution to the resurgence of printmaking from the mid-nineteenth century onwards.
The Trust is pleased to be able to support the Holburne in bringing to Bath high-profile works from world-class collections, to show how key artists primarily known for their paintings — including Éduard Manet, Pierre Bonnard, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec and Pablo Picasso — made remarkable contributions to the art of printmaking.
The exhibition continues until 13 September 2026.
